Conference Mission Outreach Project. In partnership with the PC(USA)’s Office of Stewardship & Funds Development, this year’s mission outreach project supports art education programs at Presbyterian-related schools equipping communities of color through the Giving Catalog’s gift of Arts Education for Young People of Color. Programs like the Stillman College Choir, where students learn to raise their voices in joy and harmony, provide enriching opportunities to explore music and the visual and performing arts.
Chaperones for Children, Middlers, and Senior Highs. This conference would not be possible without your participation – THANK YOU! If you are registered as a chaperone, you are required to attend the classes listed on your daily schedule to actively assist with supervision of children and youth.
Communion Server Training. Sunday servers must attend training TODAY at 4:30 pm in Anderson Auditorium. Friday servers will attend training on Tuesday at 5:30 pm.
Communion. Tonight we celebrate the Eucharist by intinction. The communion servers will hand the piece of bread to the recipient who will dip their piece of bread into the cup. Communion servers will use hand sanitizer prior to serving, and you are encouraged to do the same. Exit your pew to the left; return to the right. Bread that is free of gluten, milk, peanuts, fish, crustacean shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat will be offered at each station. 2027 Art Installation. In 2027 the PAM Worship & Music Conference scriptures draw us to the expanse and mystery of God's presence through all generations. Called up by the scriptures, the art installation will consist of geometric shapes joining in harmonious pattern. To deepen its connection with those gathered for worship, it must be strengthened by your church's participation! Please pick up a piece of fabric from the PAM Office or from the Adult Art Class. It will include instructions for your congregation's participation in the art-making at your home church, which can be done anytime over the next year. Next year at Sunday Check-In, you will drop off your piece to be incorporated in the visual art in worship at the conference!
PAM Gear. You may notice PAM friends and members wearing PAM gear this week. The PAM Store is open to all! You are invited to purchase your very own PAM apparel, hats, and bags. New items have been added to the site. Visit the store at presbyterian-association-of-musicians.checkoutstores.com to shop.
Concerns. If you have any crises, pastoral concerns, or conference issues, please call or text (828) 275-7362 to leave your phone number and someone from the planning team will contact you.
