If you own appreciated stock, it is almost always advantageous to contribute stock rather than cash. You will avoid paying any capital gains taxes on the increase in the value of the stock, and you may take a charitable deduction for the market value of the stock at the time of the gift. Please download and complete the Donor Form. Click here for instructions to complete the form for your broker and the Presbyterian Foundation.

You can contribute from your IRA or Roth IRA if you are 70 1/2 or older. This contribution must come directly from your custodian. This distribution would not be included in your taxable income but could fulfill your Required Minimum Distribution. You will need to provide your custodian with the below information:

Making a legacy gift from your estate is an intentional way of supporting the future ministry of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians. When PAM receives assets as a beneficiary under a will or trust after the donor's death, the gift is known as a "Legacy Gift." Legacy Gifts can be made from a variety of asset classes such as cash, securities, qualified retirement plan/IRA assets, the death benefit from life insurance, or real estate.

To become a member of the Legacy Giving Society, please complete and submit your Donor Intention Form. This form guides the use of your Legacy Gift to PAM.
