Revitalization Grant
Announcing PAM’s 2026 Revitalization Grant Recipients
PAM believes that formative and collaborative experiences with God and neighbor nurture relationships and create community. PAM seeks to support membership in their success in their roles across the country, equip and invest in next generation leadership, and deeply investigate, understand, and elevate a diversity of worship styles. (an excerpt from PAM’s Mission Statement and 2023-2026 Strategic Plan)

At PAM’s National Board meeting in August 2024 plans were initiated to revise the former Seed Money Grants into a single larger grant that would assist a church starting or revitalizing a music ministry or program. The purpose of this grant was to support fledgling choir programs or established music ministries fostering a new program element by offering resources and professional support. Grant recipients receive:
· 50% discount toward a PAM region event or Worship & Music Conference registration
· $1,000.00 to support ministry needs
· Quarterly program consultations with PAM colleagues to help recipients maximize their PAM Membership, discuss program challenges, and celebrate/build upon program successes.

PAM’s second annual Revitalization Grant was announced in the fall of 2025 and applications were accepted through January 31, 2026. After receiving applications submitted, the review panel formed under PAM’s Membership Committee made evaluations over a period of five weeks and their recommendation was presented to the national board meeting in March. The board approved funding to award two grants this year. The panel’s decisions were based on need, apparent resources, and perceived impact.

We are excited to announce the recipients of the 2026 PAM Revitalization Grants:
· Communities of Faith Yoked Churches; Indiana, Shelocta, and Clarksburg, Pennsylvania; Stephanie Backus, Pastor
· Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church; Oak Ridge, North Carolina; Mary Boudreault, Director of Music

Thank you to all the applicants, and congratulations to the two churches selected to receive grants this year. PAM continues to brainstorm ways in which to support our membership through our journal, Call to Worship, resources, regional activity, and events/conferences. Applications for the 2027 Revitalization Grant will be received beginning in October 2026.
