Gracenotes is the daily notes that are created and distributied each day of the conference. Because the 2009 conference did not occur, Robert Miller created the following issues of Gracenotes. Here is Robert's description:
This little project started out as something to take my mind off there not being a Westminster conference last year. I did an online, "in Exile" edition of Gracenotes and sent it out to as many Westminster people as I had e-mail addresses for. It turned out to be a wonderful way to keep in touch with Westminster friends. I modeled it after what we have every day if there was a conference. I referenced some of the hymn texts and scripture readings that we would have used and threw in some comments about where we would have been during the week. I had quite a bit of feedback from people saying that they had passed it on to others and that in some instances it helped fill the Westminster shaped conference hole in their lives that week. I had already been in correspondence with Lynne Williams with thoughts for 2010, so the next step became clear and Gracenotes/A New Song happened. In correspondence with Lynne I have been using it to encourage the grassroots people, the regulars, to get out and promote the 2010 conference. I sing in a choral group in Philadelphia and we are constantly reminded that "we are our own best advertisement", so I am using PGMC's logic to spread the word and encourage others to do the same. issues are available for anyone to download.
