The current coordinator directs one choir, and that will increase the salary, this job is a supervisory and organizational job.

Congregation's Expectations: First Presbyterian has two traditional services, and the ministers frequently use the lectionary. The church has a reputation for its excellent music program. During the school year the 5 children's choirs sing frequently as a part of the services, and also seek local outreach experiences, ie: smaller churches, retirement homes, homeless ministry, shut-ins of our church.
Additional Comments: Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of vocal techniques and ability to model and demonstrate for children’s voices
• 5 years experience in directing a graded children’s choir program preferred
• Familiarity with sacred traditional choral music
• Advanced keyboard proficiency preferred
• Organizational skills
• Ability to effectively guide and nurture children
• Ability to supervise and support staff and volunteers
• Degree in music or related field preferred
