Congregation's Expectations: Located 30 minutes from midtown Manhattan, the RCB seeks a talented musician to build on our tradition of musical excellence in worship and performance. Position available following the loss of our beloved Dick Westenburg. In addition to strong choral conducting skills and experience in managing a graded multiple choir program, you will love the beauty of traditional sacred music but will also enjoy surprising and engaging us in the years ahead with the unexpected. Ideally, you are a skilled organist who will enjoy working collegially with our ministerial and program staff of six, and will be prepared to administer our comprehensive music program which involves 150-200 children and adults participating in 5 singing and 6 handbell choirs and the supportive Choir Guild, Music Committee, Worship Council and experienced volunteers dedicated to helping our director to make music that is an uplifting, worshipful and memorable experience for all.
