Position Description
Degree requirements:  A degree in the field of sacred music, music education, minister of music, or comparable professional experience. Must possess the skill to play the organ and piano, and to direct choirs of all age groups. Must have organizational, administrative and leadership skills and display Christian attributes of faith and character in both professional and personal life.
Experience requirements:  Must have documented experience playing/accompanying choirs, and organizing and managing a music program.
Sunday services: 2
Other weekly services: occasional
Occasional services per year: 5, plus weddings and funerals
Weekly rehearsals:  2-3
Choirs & ensembles at church:  Adult = 2, Youth = 0, Children's = 1, Handbell = 1
Choirs & Ensembles that this position will be expected to direct/accompany: 2 adult choirs + supervision of total church music program, including special music programs and events, as well as planning, and leading special musical trips and retreat.

Compensation
Hours per week: 30
Salary range: Salary is competitive with other area churches of similar size.
