Congregation's Expectations: The Part-time Music Director/Organist should be an individual who is excited and passionate about being in ministry with First Presbyterian Church. We value and welcome the gifts and abilities the Director/Organist will bring to our ministry and encourage creativity and flexibility. The church is receptive to a variety of well prepared music and enjoys having instruments, soloists, etc. introduced into the service on occasion to add to the worship experience. The congregation enjoys hearing the pipe organ as well as the piano accompanying the choir. The primary responsibilty of the position is to maintain the music program of the church as an integral part of the church's ministry, especially in worship.
Additional Comments: The church is seeking both a Part-time Music Director and a Part-time Organist. Individual's interested in either position separately are encouraged to apply. The salary for a Part-time Music Director is $18,880. The salary for a Part-time Organist is $12,930.
