Conferences & Events

PAM Conferences

PAM sponsors three Worship and Music Conferences each summer which seek to model a high standard of worship through the promotion of worthy church music and other arts and through the sharpening and refining of the tools of worship. They provide opportunities for intensive work in many areas and stimulate the imagination through exposure to new possibilities for worship. The conferences adhere to the principles of Reformed worship and provide for the continuing development of the skills and understanding of the entire worshiping community: pastors, musicians, choir members, worship committee members, children - everyone committed to the worship of the church.

Conference Brochures - All current PAM members receive the brochures for all three PAM conferences via mail when they are available. Past members will receive the brochures for five years after their membership has lapsed. Anyone who is not a current member and requests a brochure will receive them for five years. If you would like to be added to the list for receiving PAM conference brochures, please send your name and mailing address information to pam@pcusa.org or call the National Office 1-888-728-7228 xt 5288.

National Events for New Hymnal Planned

 

The Presbyterian Publishing Corporation (PPC) is pleased to announce six national conferences around the publication of its new hymnal, Glory to God. These two-day educational events are being designed for pastors, musicians, worship committees, and ecumenical friends. Focus topics include global music, how to teach a new hymn, liturgy in Glory to God, and much more! Nationally-recognized musicians, preachers, and theologians will be featured at each event.
