Scholarship Application

PAM has many scholarships available for summer Worship and Music conferences, and one for the PAM Professional Gathering. (Please indicate the scholarship for which this application is intended.) All scholarships cover the cost of registration for the conference. Room, board, and transportation to and from the conference is not covered and will be at the individual's expense.
Montreat Worship & Music Conference Scholarships
_____	Will Miller Memorial Scholarship (available to youth [rising grades 7-12] who are active in the church's music program) *Application due 2/15/2010*
_____	PAM James Sydnor Memorial Scholarship (available to a person who is currently from a small church (250 or fewer members) or a racial ethnic minority church, and who is also a seminary student, pastor, or musician.) *Application due 2/15/2010*
_____	PAM Racial/Ethnic Heritage Scholarship (available to any person of racial/ethnic heritage. To be used for the Montreat conference.) *Application due 2/15/2010*
_____	PAM Scholarship (available to any adult, youth or child with financial need. To be used for the Montreat conference.) *Application due 2/15/2010*
_____	PAM Seminarian/Musician Scholarship (available to a seminary student or music major undergraduate or graduate student - includes room and board in addition to registration. Only one awarded per year.) *Application due 2/15/2010*

Westminster Worship & Music Conference Scholarships

Mo-Ranch/PAM Worship & Music Conference Scholarships

Adult applicants:
1) Write a short essay (one or two paragraphs) on your qualifications as an applicant and why you would like to attend a PAM conference.
2) Ask your pastor or music director to write a letter of recommendation on your behalf highlighting your experience and involvement in the church, your financial need, and how you and your congregation would benefit from the conference

Children and youth applicants: Music director: Please write an evaluation statement of the applicant including the applicant's musical experience and involvement in the church, how the applicant would benefit from the conference, and your perception of the applicant's financial need.

Applications must be received no later than February 15 for Montreat, March 15 for Westminster, and March 15 for Mo-Ranch/PAM conferences, and by December 1 for the PAM Professional Meeting. Send information requested above, along with this application form to:
