PAM Announces their New Executive Director!

Kelly Abraham PAM is delighted to announce a new Executive Director. The executive board has unanimously voted to hire Kelly Abraham as our new Executive Director. Kelly has been quite active with PAM for the past eight years. She has served on the faculty, planning teams, and as conference secretary for several of the Montreat Worship and Music Conferences since 2011. Kelly comes to us from First Presbyterian Church, Lexington, KY, where she has served as Director of Youth and their Families for the past twelve years. Prior to that position, Kelly held positions in accounting, financial auditing, and management/strategic planning and development. Her unique skill set is especially well- suited for leading PAM into the future.

A special thanks is extended to the search committee who spent many hours deciding what skills were most desired for the position, reviewing applications, conducting telephone interviews, and holding face-to-face interviews. That search committee was: David VanderMeer, chair, Mary Beth Jones, David Erwin, Martha Moore-Keish, and David Gambrell.

I hope that you will extend a warm welcome to Kelly, and that you will keep both Kelly and the members of the PAM staff and executive board in your prayers as they serve the PAM membership.

Sincerely,

Eve Hehn PAM expresses our deepest gratitude to Eve Hehn, who has served as the Interim Executive Director of PAM since mid-December. Eve brought enthusiastic ideas and visions for PAM during her tenure with us. She was instrumental in hiring our first part-time accountant, Denise O’Donnell. Eve and Denise have worked together to improve our accounting processes. Eve also evaluated the skills of the existing PAM staff members, Kari Hay and Creston Parker. She worked with them to determine their strengths, interests, and passions, so that duties could be assigned accordingly. Eve emphasized a collaborative approach for the office staff and helped to streamline the processes.

Eve has also redesigned the PAM website, with the rollout to take place on or before September 15. Look for a fresh new design on our website! Additionally, Eve has several recommendations for new projects that she will present to the executive board at the August meeting. Eve has graciously agreed to remain with PAM until September 15, allowing for a smooth one-month transition following Kelly’s start date of August 14.

We wish Eve all the best in her future endeavors, and thank her for her dedication to PAM during this interim phase.

Sincerely,
